A local chapter of Rotary International, serving the Pahrump Valley and Nye County, Nevada.
Neighbors who show up
The Rotary Club of Pahrump Valley brings together people from across the community who want to do something useful with their time. Members come from small businesses, education, health care, public safety, and retirement, and they all share the same simple idea: leave the valley better than you found it.
Most of what we do starts at the club lunch table. Someone raises a need, the club talks it through, and a few weeks later there is a project, a scholarship, or a fundraiser behind it. Nothing fancy, just steady work by people who care.
The Four-Way Test
Rotarians everywhere measure what they think, say, and do against four questions:
- 1Is it the truth?
- 2Is it fair to all concerned?
- 3Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- 4Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Where we focus
Rotary organizes its work around causes that carry across every club. Ours show up locally as youth scholarships, veteran support, food and clothing drives, memorial and park upkeep, and disaster relief giving through The Rotary Foundation.
